Problem: MEPPI saw a way to help utilities monitor substations remotely with computer vision, robotics and thermal imaging. Turning Power-I from concept into a commercial product, and a new software revenue line, needed a clear path.

W.C. Bradley earns global recognition for connected grilling with Truefit

Problem: W.C. Bradley's move into connected grilling had to establish it as a category leader in a crowded market. The global launch spanned three brands, including a new one: Current Backyard.
Truefit:
  • Connected grills and temperature probes over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with control from iOS, Android, Apple Watch and Alexa
  • Designed and built one cross-platform app behind all three brand experiences – Char-Broil, Oklahoma Joe’s and Current.
  • Added guided recipes, step-by-step instructions and alerts that take the guesswork out of grilling
  • Localized the app in seven languages and built it to ADA Level AA for a global audience

Result: W.C. Bradley launched all three brands on time in 2024, earning CES Innovation Awards Honoree status and a Red Dot design award in a crowded category.

Problem: When the SEC introduced Tailored Shareholder Reports, Confluence saw a chance to capture early market share. Its large client base of fund managers would need to produce hundreds or thousands of share class reports on a fixed regulatory deadline.
Truefit:
  • Interviewed users and Confluence's support team to define what fund managers needed from the product
  • Built SSRPub, a multi-user template builder where one design powers many share class reports
  • Integrated Confluence data and automated accessibility checks for ADA-compliant HTML and PDF output
  • Moved from weekly builds to a private beta, then to monthly releases

Result: Confluence brought a new SEC reporting product to its client base, giving fund managers reusable, ADA-compliant templates for high-volume reporting.

Problem: Flaherty & O'Hara, one of the largest liquor licensing practices in the U.S., manages license renewals for clients across many states. Growing the practice meant handling far more renewals and new license types without adding staff.

  • Built Evergreen, a multi-tier SaaS platform that runs the full license renewal process
  • Designed dashboards that track every renewal by due date, stage and state
  • Added assignments and progress tracking from Forms Obtained through Renewal Completed
  • Built the platform to support new license types, including pharmacy, lottery and tobacco

Result: Evergreen has grown more than 20% a year since launching in 2020, and the firm processes 6x more renewals with the same staff.

MEPPI moves to proactive remote monitoring in the field with Truefit

Problem: MEPPI's field service engineers relied on manual, delayed inspections to check battery energy storage systems installed in the field. Equipment status was only as current as the last site visit.
Truefit:
  • Built a remote monitoring platform on AWS for secure cloud-based access and scalability
  • Integrated live SCADA data from the client site to power operational dashboards for decision-making
  • Delivered threshold-based alerts for temperature and voltage, OEM alarm code handling and equipment availability reporting
  • Created drill down dashboards giving field service engineers at-a-glance equipment status from site to individual lineups
  • Structured the pilot as prove-once-then-scale, ready to extend across other MEPPI Service Center divisions

Result: Field service engineers now see equipment status, alerts and alarm codes in minutes instead of hours, and Phase 1 is ready to scale across MEPPI's divisions.
