Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs Forum & Cohen & Grigsby Present: Land, Sea, Air... Pittsburgh Robots are Everywhere!

“Pittsburgh’s ability to attract extraordinary talent and redeploy its existing manufacturing infrastructure has created an organic local renaissance that creates jobs and economic opportunity in the region,” said David Kalson, moderator of the event. “While much attention is focused on driverless automation, our panel represents a cross-section of growth and innovation in other areas that are indicative of Pittsburgh’s future as a global robotics leader.”  According to Pittsburgh Robotics Network, Pittsburgh’s robotics industry has seen a 300% growth in employment with more than 1,500 jobs added since 2011.

The event will shed light on exciting robotics innovations coming from companies that may not necessarily be in the national spotlight yet, but are attracting talented employees and early stage capital, along with the challenges they face.   More than 150 leaders, students and representatives from Pittsburgh’s academic, research, business and investor communities are expected to attend the event, which will also feature interactive demonstrations and a question-and-answer session with the panelists.
